Comprehensive Sex Education has been shown through a study by Institute for Research and Evaluation to cause more harm than good. This means that CSE increases teen pregnancies more than it helps decrease them. Likewise, CSE increases the likelihood of STDs rather than decreases them. CSE is harmful for the following reasons:

1. The worldview CSE is based on is faulty,

2. The sexually explicit material used in CSE sexualizes children more than it prepares them for healthy sexual encounters,

3. Normalizes and celebrates risky sexual behaviors
